Basic maintenance of Trumon guitar

1.Please use Trumon special cleaning cloth, which is made of high-grade woven suede ,it cares the body better and wipes off sweat and dirt.

2.Avoid long time direct sunlight or high temperature environment, high temperature environment may lead to the loosen of the body structure.

3.Avoid a long time staying in humid environment, humid environment can easily cause deformation of the wooden body and affect guitar timbre and playing experience.

4.Avoid collisions, it is recommended to put the guitar in Trumon original bag or case when carrying it out or placing it at home, it would protect the guitar better.

5.When the guitar is not used for a long time, the strings should be loosened to avoid the body deformation which caused by long-term force, that will affect the playing experience.

6.Wooden products are easily affected by humidity. The better the guitar, the more it needs to closely control the environmental humidity .The optimal environmental humidity range is 45-55%. Generally, the central and northern regions need to be humidified in winter, and the southern regions need to be dried.

When the luthier checks the wood with a hygrometer, it is best to find wood with the moisture content about 9%, the temperature about 22 degrees and the humidity about 50%.

When the humidity is below 35%, the distance between the strings is reduced, and the phenomenon of beating Frets begins to appear.

When the humidity is below 20%, the top and the bridge begin to peel off slightly, and the edges of the frets become extremely sharp.

When the Humidity is below 15%, the body cracks and the glue joints start to fall off.

When the humidity is higher than 65%, the action increases and the playing comfort decreases.

When the humidity is higher than 75%, the neck is obviously bent, and the intonation is no longer stable.

When the humidity is higher than 85%, the volume and tone will change, the paint color will change, and the body inside will be moldy after a long time.
